Clubhouse Intro Tour Video Transcript
Hey, I'm Marcus Schmidt, community manager for Windows Live.
I want to take a couple minutes with you to show you what the community Clubhouse is all about.

The Clubhouse? It's all about people like you who are using Windows Live to make their lives a little easier and a whole lot more fun.
[Image transitions to Clubhouse home page and collage of Clubhouse members.]
It's about discovering the cool things that you can do: like sharing photos and keeping in touch with your friends and family. It's really for anybody who wants to share their experiences with others.

That's one of the coolest things about the Clubhouse. It's an exclusive group where you can't help but learn something new by sharing your experiences and seeing what others are doing when you join!
So how do you share your story? Really, there's nothing to it.
[Sign-in page for Windows Live Spaces and other screen shots.]
Just start by going to your Windows Live Space and blog like you normally do. But this time you'll be sharing a how-to tip or story about Windows Live that just might inspire someone else to give it a try!
[Image of post on staying connected.]
So let's check out what Clubhouse member Darren posted about staying connected with Windows Live Writer. It's pretty cool. He's using Writer along with some other applications to cross-post his published articles as a tweet on Twitter. Not bad.
So, when you are using the site there are great ways to help you navigate inside the Clubhouse and help customers navigate as well.
[Back to Marcus in front of the screen]
For example, check out these 3 tags – first, "Clubhouse" so we know it's meant to be shared with the community. Next, the "How-to" tip tag. And finally, because it's something associated with Writer it's tagged as "Writer" so it's clear what product this post has to do with.

Using RSS, your story or tip—along with everyone else's content—automatically gets aggregated inside the Clubhouse.
[Clubhouse home page]
That's where it can be reviewed, rated by everybody else in the Clubhouse. And if you get high ratings, those are used for badges, that really recognizes your expertise.
[Series of shots that show Most Recent posts and highlights the Ratings areas.]
One of the great things about the site is that your content, if it is rated as one of the best, could be showcased on WindowsLive.com. So when we say we are going to share your content with the whole wide world – we're not kidding. Millions of people come to that site and they can see your stuff.

So just think. One of your how-to tips or stories could make it on that home page! Just like Robert's story here.

[Wrap-up]
So, thanks for taking our tour. And we hope you are as excited about your new community as we are.
