I often go out to the Windows Live gadget web site a lot to look around and see what new things I can add to my page. I came across the Spaces Maps a few months ago and at first I thought it was for showing others where you have traveled. That type of map is something I have always wanted and have started to see on Panoramio but I never really got into it much because I wanted to be able to share it more and my Windows Live Spaces is a great format for that. So, when I came across this gadget I thoughtlightbulb “Great, a map I can share my travels with easier”. But, it didn’t end up that way.

This map is to show what areas of the world people live in that look at your Windows Live Spaces page, which is another great idea. I love to see how this little guy from Tennessee can share thoughts and ideas and pictures and what ever with anyone around the world that wants to see into my little world. 

So, after running across this gadget again on Jeff’s site, I played around with it more and learned more about it.

I came across the blog “Hack MSN Spaces:Map your Visitors with spaces maps” that finally explained more about the map.

I like this idea and I think the Windows Live developers can do a lot with this gadget in the future.
