Well my big secret will be out soon because I was just in a “Windows Live Podcast with Marcus!” Marcus is the Community Manager of the Windows Live Clubhouse and I couldn’t even believe it when he sent me a Windows Live message saying, “Interested in doing a podcast with me?” I said, “I would be honored to do a podcast with you, but I get so embarrassed and nervous when I know that I am being recorded.”

I managed to overcome my fear of being recorded over the phone today and Marcus recorded our conversation using the Microsoft Office Live Meeting  software with their Toll-Free Number. Being [Clubhouse]able to do a live podcast with Marcus was a really great privilege for me, one that he has previously done only with employees. Marcus said this in his message, “Mostly, I've done these with other Microsoft employees, but I'd like to start doing some with members of our Windows Live community.”

I wrote about having a secret yesterday in this entry Just Start Typing! and this is what I said, “I have something scheduled for tomorrow, but I want to wait and see how what I have planned goes before I write about what’s happening. I can tell you that I am really nervous and excited about what is going on tomorrow, but for now I want to keep it a secret!” Now that it’s all over I just want to tell everyone that I had a great time doing the podcast with Marcus. So if he asks you if you want to do a live podcast with him go ahead and have some fun. I thought it was Great!

Marcus said that, “I did a good job in the live podcast today and that we didn’t need to do any retakes” on any of the podcast, and I can’t wait to hear what it sounds like after it’s edited. This is what I said in one of my messages to Marcus, “I want to do the podcast with you in order to prove to myself that I can do it, not that I think that I will be good in it, but I’m looking forward to working with a professional like yourself and possibly “Learning Something New!” I find that learning new things is the most rewarding thing in my life right now, and I Thank You for the opportunity to do just that on the 24th!”
