What’s the #1 piece of advice given out by those in the know about computer safety? Never open an e-mail attachment! It simply isn’t safe as you don’t know who might have sent
it or what it might contain. However, we still need ways to collaborate and share documents and files with our friends, colleagues and family, so how do we do it? With Windows Live SkyDrive of course!
In this screencast I show you how to use Windows Live SkyDrive to send safer, more secure attachments via SkyDrive and URL’s. It doesn’t matter what e-mail provider you use, this works with both personal e-mail accounts (Hotmail, Yahoo Mail, etc.) as well as corporate accounts. Best of all, it gives you total control over the attachments, who can see them and how they are accessed.

The MSN Soapbox video is not the best quality, so I’ve put the high-resolution screencast up on my Windows Live SkyDrive which you can download and watch.
