As most of the time, I’m away from my PC. This is very handy for updating my photo albums from my Windows Mobile. All you need to do, is the setup before hand.
For example if your planning a day trip. Create a photo album for the trip. Check your email publishing options, and your set to go. So as your out and about, you can be updating you album as you go!
| From the “Options” menu on photos.live.com click “E-mail publishing” | |
| Tick the box to enable e-mail publishing | |
| Enter your email address. This will be the one you’ll using to send your pictures to Live Photos | |
| This can be anything you wish. The stranger, the better. | |
| Live Photos will automatically generate a “Keyword” for each photo album you create. Change this to something like the folder name. Don’t forget no spaces or symbols. | |
| Now all that’s done. Make a note of the email address in Step 5, and keep it private to your self (NB there not my e-mail publishing addresses). Even better is to save the email address in your contacts. So you can just look it up, to send your pictures to the album of your choice. All that’s left now is to click on the “Save” button. |
To e-mail publish your pictures:
- Just open your email program, this can be on your mobile phone!
- Create an new email message
- Using the email address you saved in Step 5, for the album that you wish to publish your picture in. Put the email address in the To: line of your email message.
- Attach your picture to the email message.
- Now in the subject line of the email message. Put the caption that you wish for the picture. Leave the body of the email as it’s not used.
- Click send.
