As you may have read before, my university uses Live @ Edu, which gives us windows live ID’s with our university email addresses- so we can use windows live with them.

Anyway, as I haven’t got round to making use of all of this with my uni account I thought I'd take the opportunity to do so.  I’m currently working on an animation project for my course where we have to animate a popular tale or myth in a novel way.  I’m doing it using Adobe After Effects, re telling the story of Hippolytus (I studied Classical Civilisation back in school).  We have to record what were doing, why were doing it and how either on paper or on a blog.

What better way then to do this then using Live Spaces and Live Writer? Im used to blogging now, taking screen shots of things and using images within the blog so its a much nicer (and considerably neater) way to record things than by hand.

Im just showing you all a screen shot of it.  You won’t be able to access it though as I’ve set it to private and will only allow myself and my lecturer to view it, mostly in case anyone decides to steal parts of it.

In the blog, i just talk about what choice I’ve made in terms of software, character design and the story I’m using.   Another great advantage of blogs over hand written/paper is that I can place links to the things I’m talking about as well as embedding videos.  Its a true 21st century means of doing school or university work and maybe even if your employer lets you, for submitting work project details.
