Docextreme is a Clubhouse member and has asked some great questions in his post. Today I’m going to try and answer a few of his questions by being “Interactive at the Clubhouse!” I just can’t take it when I ask a question and it goes unanswered. You know what I’m talking about (crickets chirping noises) and no one responds to your question. I just love using other people’s questions as a writing prompt to help me to have something to say. Docextreme asks, “What inspires you to blog?”

[Clubhouse]That’s a very good question, and I’ve got so many different answers to this question. That it really depends on what my mood is like, on any given day. My writing theme for this year is Writing just to Write, and that’s exactly what I’m doing at this moment. But you’re more than welcome to search my blog and find out about me by reading what I write about every day. As to the next question, “Why I blog?” Is because I made a commitment to myself to write something every day on November 25, 2006 and I really enjoy doing it…Today is my 863rd consecutive day of blogging.

The question, “Where do I get my ideas from?” Well today it’s from Docextreme's questions, but it could be from almost anything. I never know Question Markwhat’s going to show up on the page until I write it. I’ve even surprised myself sometimes with the words that show up on the page. I have no idea where some of the stuff I write about comes from other than my thoughts. Question: “What makes good conversation?” I really don’t know what my answer is to this question? I usually just write for myself and if someone else finds what I’m writing about interesting that’s great! but like I said, “I’m writing just to write!”

I’m going to end my post with this next question, “Are shorter posts easier to read?” I’d say, “Yes!” and I usually write about 250 words per post. This story is longer than that and these questions have inspired me to answer them and to write more. My hope is that you will respond to his questions and write too. Being interactive by hearing what I’ve said and hopefully my words have made you think of something to share.

One person’s thoughts, ideas, and words inspiring others to respond is what being interactive is all about. So are you inspired to share what thoughts are on your mind today?
