Microsoft has launched the new Windows Live Photos and it is now easier than ever to share photos with family and friends.

With the new Windows Live Photos you can even send family/friends a link to a public album that will put people directly into a slideshow. Very cool!

Here is how:

1. Create a public photo album (or only send your slide show link to people with a Windows Live ID)
2. Add or upload photos to the album from your hard drive (or publish directly from the new Windows Live Photo Gallery Beta)
3. Put the album into slide show mode by clicking on the Slide show link (circled in red)

4. Select the URL in the address bar of your web browser (highlighted in blue) and copy it to the clipboard (Ctrl+C)

5. Exit the slide show by clicking the "esc" key on your keyboard or by clicking the "Go to album" link in the upper left of the slideshow
6. Click on the "Mail" link in the Windows Live header to take you to your Hotmail
7. Click the "New" link to compose a new e-mail
8. Select recipients and a subject for your e-mail
9. Type in a suitable e-mail to your friends and e-mail and paste the slide show link from the clipboard (Ctrl+V)
10. Click send and you're done

Now when the recipients open your e-mail and click on the link it will take them directly to the slide show.

Alternatively you can start a conversation in Messenger with a contact or a group and paste the link into the conversation window.
