The recent news about Hotmail users passwords being leaked is a good reminder for everyone of us to keep our online lives a bit more secure. Hotmail has a feature that will automatically expire your passwords after 72 days as a result it let’s you keep yourself a bit more secure, maybe tedious but well in this day we need to be careful. So here’s how you do it:

  1. Go to hotmail inbox on the website
  2. Options –> More options
  3. Under Manage your account select View and edit your personal information

  4. Enter your password & on the next page
  5. Under Password reset information choose change for your password
