When you go to the Smiley Central page you hear the guy saying, “Want Free Smileys? Click the
Button!” Several people have asked me about where to get the smiley faces and how to use them…I have been using the Smiley Central’s icons and toolbar for quite some time, and as I recall the hardest part about getting and using them is convincing yourself to download the toolbar. So that you can have access to the 10,000 different Smiley faces.
Once you have downloaded the toolbar you just click on the Smiley Central button on your browser:
The Smiley Central window opens up on your screen and you can search for the icon that you want to use by category or by using the search feature to find the smiley you are looking for.
For example: I did a search on tongue because this is one of my favorite smiley face icons because it always makes me laugh. I mean really: Who would stick their tongue on a freezing flagpole in 0º weather? Give me a break…Too funny! Then you simply right click on the icon and select Copy Smiley Graphic/Allow access to clipboard and then paste it where you want it to go: In my case into this Windows Live Writer for this post today.
I was just thinking, although I am writing this entry for my Windows Live blog today…I could also post this at the Clubhouse so that maybe more people would see how to use these graphics. As you can see by these previous blog entries Smiley Central Blog or My Advent Calendar post that I really like using these smiley faces, because they make me feel good, laugh and smile just by looking at them!
We all know that laughter is the best medicine…So smile and laugh and have a Great Day!
Thanks for Listening,
Jeff
