There are so many people in the world today and I want to write about just a few of them with “Today's Thoughts about Friendship!” I feel like I don’t know you: Well
maybe I know some of you better than others! What’s up with that? One would think that with so many different people to meet throughout the world that finding friends should be easy.
I believe that making friendships is hard for me because I make everything harder to accomplish than it actually is, or even should be…I believe it’s because of the barriers that I build in my mind for example: I am not going to leave a comment on this Blog post because I don’t know what they will think of me if I do, and I don’t want to say what’s on my mind and embarrass myself.
I really like this post from Kelly's Chronicles titled Walls Suffocate while Boundaries Communicate and I did manage to leave a comment to let him know that I liked what he had to say, but I didn’t tell you about the walls and barriers that I have built in my mind. Naomi mentioned my name in this post and said, “Wow! Jeff sure had a good message this morning and
Joel Osteen is a good source for it. Bounce back, that is it.” I left this comment today, but I felt uneasy about saying anything because of the walls or barriers I have built in my mind about leaving comments.
I have been listening to Marcus do his Windows Live Podcast Series and I stumbled upon the podcasts today by accident. An idea came to mind that they would go great with my thoughts about friendship today, because they put voices and personalities to the Windows Live Spaces sites. I wrote this after my Windows Live Podcast with Marcus! Being able to hear someone voice instead of just reading their words on the page makes it a much more personal experience, don’t you think? Here’s the links to the Windows Media Player version of the podcasts:
I think we all have some walls or barriers in our
minds that we don’t share our thoughts with other people and it only hinders us from making friendships. Greg and his family are just settling into their new home and I think that it is really great to see him around Windows Live Spaces again:
Welcome back Greg!
I have decided to share a few of my thoughts today and write about friendship. Are you going to leave a comment? Or are you going to let some barrier in your mind prevent you from saying something?

Thanks for Listening,
