There is a fairly new service called AlphaInventions.com. I found out how great it is several months ago when I had 500 visitors to my space in one day.
No, this is not a Windows Live product, but as you will see, it is still good for Windows Live. It is a service that shows entire blogs in real time, as they are updated. So, when a Windows Live Space is shown on the screen, and it looks interesting enough for a visit, a visitor can click to go to that space immediately.
So, this gets more visitors to an individual’s space, but it also allows other bloggers to see and visit Windows Live Spaces, and perhaps come in to settle down. So, it’s not only good for Spacers, but good for Windows Live, also.
There used to be an Updated Spaces page in Spaces before the big change to Windows Live.com. It did not have the full-screen view of the Space, just a link to it and a small snippet of text of the latest blog entry. I miss this feature, and I hope that Windows Live brings it back.
As of now, we only see updated spaces in our own network, on our Home page. So, at this time, AlphaInventions in a good substitute.
